Tours of the region

There are two main tours with a guaranteed start that do not depend on the number of people registered: the “Red” and the “Green” tour. The maximum capacity of a tour is 18 people.

The Red Tour
The Red Tour is scheduled in general from 9:30 to 16:30.
During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the castle of Uchisar, the outdoor museum of Göreme, the valley of love and its fairy chimneys, the village of Avanos where you will have lunch and visit the pottery workshops , the valley of the monk, the Devrent valley and finally the “three beautiful ones” of the city of Urgup.

The Green Tour
The Green tour is scheduled from 9:30 to 18:00.
You will have the opportunity to visit the “Göreme Panorama”, which is one of the most beautiful panoramic sites of Cappadocia, an underground city (Derinkuyu or Kaymakli), the monastery of Selime which is directly carved into the mountain, and the Ihlara valleys where you will have lunch. You will also have a 3-kilometer walk (lasting about an hour) in the valley and near the banks of the Melendiz riverand then visit one of the churches built inside the valley. Your last visit will be the pigeon valley on your way back.
Finally, during your visit to the Ihlara Valley you will be able to see the Hasan mountain (3253 m) located 10 kilometers from your position.

We do not advise you to visit the underground city included in the Green tour if you are asthmatic, claustrophobic or if you suffer from panic attacks
